Hwa Young Jung

Hwa Young is an award winning multidisciplinary designer working in the arts, cultural and sciences, facilitating collaborative workshops and projects. She’s been involved in grass-roots led community spaces, makers and artists in Manchester and the North for over five years.
For SHIFT Hwa Young has created the Regina V Turing and Murray commission as part of Heritage Open Days to recreat the trial of Alan Turing in Knutsford and devised the Crewe: Beyond Ultimate Reality project for youn gpeople which culminated in a site specific performance at Crewe Library called The Train Now Departing

Hwa Young is  a founder of Re-Dock, led by artists and filmmakers, with Sam Meech, Tim Brunsden & Neil Winterburn, Re-Dock are a community interest company established to develop and deliver high quality creative projects throughout the North West of England and beyond.
