Digital Arts & Creative Technology

Join the SHIFT Team with FACT FUTURES: Learning Technologist

SHIFT and FACT are looking for an innovative and creative Learning Technologist to join the team.

We’re excited to be working in partnership with FACT Liverpool to deliver a new phase of activity offering skills development workshops across the borough.

We are looking for a new Learning Technologist with skills in digital making and excellent interpersonal skills to deliver sessions across East Cheshire in a range of digital mediums, which could include  VR, 3D Printing, Future Transport, Future Design, coding, games jams and more…

If this sounds like it’s for you, the ideal candidate will work closely with FACT’s Learning Team to design and develop activities within this context, and then deliver them in the Cheshire East region. The postholder will also be supported by the SHIFT Programme Manager and wider Cultural Services team at the Council.

This role is about taking technology out to people to develop skills and experience, therefore some evening and weekend work will be required.

FACT FUTURES is an ambitious one-year programme developed in the framework of a strategic partnership between Cheshire East Council and FACT. The main purpose of FACT FUTURES is to deliver workshops, training and development experiences to upskill workshop leaders and deliver ‘train the trainer’ activity to leave a legacy beyond the 12 month programme. FACT FUTURES is a core part of the SHIFT programme of digital activities across the borough, funded by Arts Council England, Cheshire East Council and EU LEADER funding.

The post holder will be supported by the SHIFT Programme Manager and wider Cultural Services team at the Council.
